This Is It

Went to National Library yesterday with Jooying and Mun Yee. Boy, was it disappointing. I went there with such high hopes that I would be able to find my Dan Brown books but I did not spot a single book of his. Not to mention, I was naive enough to hope that they would have The Angel's Game there. We left the library empty handed. sigh.

Not much of a good start of our outing, we headed over to TS. And it got worse. The parking was all taken at the lower floors. When we finally found a parking spot, we were so relieved and happy, and Jooying tried to do her reverse parking into that spot. As she was attempting to park, an ugly scene took place.

This lady in a black Wira was at the back of us. Since we figured we would take some time to park, we thought of letting her pass us first. Despite Mun Yee waving to her asking her to leave, she put on her signal light and dashed into OUR parking spot! What guts she has! We just stared at her dumbfounded by her barbaric actions. An older lady whom we assumed would be her mother got down from the backseat carrying a baby, while the driver stayed in the car. Jooying winded down the window to tell her that that's our parking spot but the mother told us 'you lambat' . What the crap ? Even if it's our problem being slow, it still is our parking spot! Hello, ever heard of first come first serve basis, barbarians?

After bout few minutes or so, a car nearby need to leave. Thus, we manage to obtain another parking. The barbaric driver finally leave the car. She stood at the side, waiting for us to finish parking to 'talk; to us. Seems to me she wants to find fault more. What more with all her gangster look.

She claims that since we both have obtained the parkings, she said that the problem is settled. An uncivilised person like her can't seem to understand that the problem arised here is that OUR parking has been stolen by her. She made matter worst by being rude and talked to us in a rather offensive manner.

Firstly she said she thought we were turning away, which does not make sense since our REVERSE light was on.

Then she changed to say that we were LAMBAT. Next she asked us if we are 'budak sekolah' which Jooying answered yes. And with that, she made another unreasonable claim that she is older than us and we should RESPECT her!

And she insincerely apologized 'sorry la, bro' which Jooying did not accept and she went on to explain the problem here is about her stealing our parking. The next thing she said was asking us to SHUT UP! since she has so called considered nice to bow down and apologize to us.

It has been a real bad start for our outing which fumed us all up, making us cursing all the way. I'm sad to see such uncivilised road bully, or rather parking bully still lurks around KL. It is no right for her to be giving all shitty unreasonable excuses and finally apologizing insincerely which ended up with a rude shut up. Totally spoil mood.

The best part of the day has got to be Michael Jackson's 'This Is It'. It is just so overwhelmingly great and captivating, it's worth every cent I paid for the two hours production. And the best part is, I got home feeling so happy and satisfied that I managed to watch our King of Pop perform for the very last time. It would be much better if the audience in the cinema is more sporting to cheer. Well, although not much of a MJ fan, I can feel the effort he has put in preparing for the concert that he has failed to perform and it saddens me when we were the only three cheering in the cinema at the part where MJ cheered with all the director, crews and performers of the concert. We stayed till the very last part where I get to listen to Heal The World which he did not sing during the rehearsal. Made me smile again at the end of the day. :)

And I get to drink honeydew milkshake again after 2 weeks. Wee.
